BEAUTIFUL SLEAZY
You'd be forgiven for thinking you already know The Beautiful Sleazy. They've got a dirty sweet rock and roll sound thats a nod to the new but respects it's lineage. Influenced by all the greats from Primal Scream to T Rex with a chunky slice of glam garage thrown in for good measure. It's still early days for the band.Dovey,Sam and Dan have known each other since school and have jammed together over the years and had been in various other bands but it wasn't untill November 2006 when they were back jamming together that they thought this could actually go somewhere.They practised hard and at the beginning of December decided upon a name (harder than writing Live Forever as many a band out there will know!) and decided to spread the sleazy word about and get playing some gigs. Their first gig was New Years Eve 2006 and since then they've been playing all over from London town upto Liverpool,Leeds and Glasgow to name a few but also remembering their local area's of Peterborough and Cambridge.There's been a a pause in their journey as their drummer was called back in to the army to go to Afganistan-Big love to you out there Simon! They're a great band live and are already getting a promising following and good feedback from both fans and the promoters of the gigs. They have been getting airplay on local radio and have done an accoustic set for BBC Radio Cambridgeshire. If you see them you'll know what we're talking about...there's something going on you can feel it and you need to be part of it So all you beautiful people get yourself along there and join the sleazy army.

ABOUT THE BLOW UPS.......
Noisy and fast, loud and fun, The Blow Ups are a four piece punk band from South West London with a memorable melodic edge. They are set apart from the rest of the punky contenders by lead singer Kelly. With an impressive stage presence and a powerful voice she dominates the songs and the stage. The songs are full of sharp observations about superheroes in rehab, c-list celebrity drop outs, alienation and abuse.
CHARLIE RINKS
Charlie Rinks is a singer songwriter with extensive performance experience, having worked as a professional singer and vocal coach for the past 5 years! She has studied a degree in Jazz music at Exeter University as well as Contemporary Vocal Performance and Performing arts at 'The Academy of Contemporary Music' and 'Guildford School of Acting' respectively. Charlie also currently teaches vocals at 'The Academy of Contemporary Music' in Guildford! Charlie's performing credits including vocalist for girlband, 'The Sapphires' whose single, 'Baby It's You' appeared on the worldwide advertising campaign for Peroni beer. She has also been lead vocalist for cabaret acts, 'The It Girls' and 'The Cabaret Kittens' performing in numerous venues including 'Madame Tussauds', 'The Playrooms' and 'The Kings Head' in London. Hello all you lovely people, I have been busy working with amazing producers Jon Bishop and Rupert Christie and my brilliant band, to record some of my favourite original songs for my new EP, 'By Your Side'.
